Thanks for tuning in for another Women's Spotlight. It is my pleasure to introduce the lady with the lovely locks named Sharday.
Sharday is a very special lady with many talents and a true gift for educating young minds. Her innovative thinking and persistence has allowed her to touch the lives of many students in a life altering way. She is not a person who gives up easily and gives 110% of her time and dedication.
After acquiring her BA in Criminal Justice, Sharday took the role of SPO “Special Police Officer” and worked in law enforcement in New Jersey. After getting pregnant Sharday retired her SPO position. It wasn’t until her child entered into school that she realized the issues that children faced in early learning and encountered the mediocrity of the schools and educator’s. She decided not to complain but to “take action” and become the change she wanted to see in the schools and education system. That’s when she earned her master’s degree in Education with a double major in Preschool through third grade and Special Education.
Shortly after graduating, Sharday began teaching first graders. After her first year she was approached to teach Preschool. Being the open minded individual that she is, she accepted the challenge. She fell in love with the age group and realized how rewarding teaching this age was. She quickly learned the immense impact on a child when a strong educational foundation was established that early in life. She realized how much she could truly help children develop and aid parents in understanding how their role impacts their child’s development in education.
Amid the pandemic of 2020 Sharday decided she needed to do more. She felt the children were given a disservice because of the limited experience they had being forced into Zoom classrooms. After seeing how some school districts sent home learning packets, she took it upon herself to put together learning packets for her students. She would mail them and in some cases personally drive to each student’s home and drop off packets in their mailboxes so that her students received a more enriching educational experience.
Within a few weeks after lockdown serval of the parents met with Sharday via zoom and asked if she would form a Pandemic Pod with 8 of the children and meet outdoors. Being the amazing woman she is, and the way she truly embodies the educators spirit she obliged to give the kids what they needed for their best learning experience. Once the Pandemic regulations were lifted on schools Sharday and her students returned to the classroom. The same parents approached Sharday again and asked if she would be teaching during the summer. It was then that Sharday formed the EZPZ Summer Camp. Every year Sharday opens enrollment for the summer, and as always, she continues to give her all to the students that enroll. She ensures they have a fun summer full of activities and education which keeps them learning every step of the way.
Sharday we here at Massiel Studios recognize your amazing drive, your brilliant mind, and your willingness to do whatever it takes to nurture tomorrow’s leaders and innovators. Women like Sharday that go above and beyond is why we spotlight amazing women in business.
For Women’s History Month I wanted to spotlight a special female Owner/ founder and CEO. Preparing for the CEO's photoshoot was super exciting, not only did it involve a road trip to Maryland but I had the pleasure of shooting a woman I have a lot of respect for. Before I start this I want to give a shout out to Blanche Creative Studio. This studio was rented for the photo shoot. The studio was very well kept and hosted numerous backdrops, furniture accessories, and great assistive equipment. The host Blanche was very friendly and professional.
As Women’s History month comes to a close I would like to share with you all more information about the lady whose photos I have been posting this week. The woman in the photos is named Tracey and she is the Founder, CEO and Chief Chemist for the skin care company named Acarre.
After working in the skin care industry for years Tracey was inspired to start her own skincare company. She wanted to create a skincare line that offered the most benefits to the user as well as being cruelty free to animals and environmentally friendly. Acarre beauty was born with these values in mind. The first multiuse microbiome brand for healthy skin and scalp. That’s right read that again, multiuser products. In other words one product for multiple uses. This one-of-a-kind brand has been featured in Cosmopolitan Magazine, WomLead Magazine, and LA Style Magazine.
The woman behind this incredible brand is just as unique and innovative as the products she makes. She embodies the entrepreneurial spirit and is always looking for the natural way to preserve and enhance one’s beauty. I applaud her efforts and encourage everyone to check out the Acarre website and follow it on Instagram as it grows to new heights. To the woman I admire and love, we appreciate you Tracy for giving back to the environment and doing your part to prove that we can all make a difference if we try!
